I have naturally curly hair that is naturally light brown/dark blonde. I have had it platinum blonde for years though. I have been getting lowlights for the past few months and although you can see them near the crown of my head, after a week or so the rest of my hair looks like it doesn't really have the lowlights anymore. It looks pretty bad when I wear my hair in a ponytail, although it's not too bad down. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Cut it fairly short and let it grow out. Dark blonde is awesome, maybe bleach just a bit after New Year's.
