i have wavy/curly hair and i need to know whats best to use with my hair and what kind of hair straighter is best to use......

well anthing ceramic really and it's best to use some kind of thermal protection eaither a spray or a cream...hot tools are good or maybe a chi ...but if you dont want to spend slot of money go to sally's ( the beauty supply store ) they have tons of them ranging from 14 dollars to 100 dollars ...remember....you get what you pay for:)

When I straighten my hair, I use a straightening lotion, and a plain normal straightening iron that I got at Wal-mart.

Straightener: Hot Tools, ceramic.

Hint: ceramic straighteners always work the best!

i have curly hair too but i really prefer not to straighten it. i like to have loose curls which i get by putting curl defining creme in it when it is soaking wet then letting it air dry (i use the brand called samy). when i do wear my hair straight though i use i chi ceramic straightening iron. so try it if you want :)
